My name is Amy Driscoll, and I  have grown up truly embracing my Irish heritage.  Here, this website consists of my family lineage history of the Driscoll family from the Northshore of Massachusetts.  The website will detail information of the Driscoll family and Mahoney family immigrating to America, how they assimilated into American culture (through jobs), and any discrimination they faces as they assimilated into American culture.  I will compare my family assimilation in America, to how other Irish immigrants assimilated in the United States, as well.  Ultimately the website will explore social and gender roles of my ancestors seeking to find their identity in America.
